Strong Market and Opportunity

You may have been put off by recent Government disincentives in the buy to let market.  Such as the 3% stamp duty tax hike and the cut to mortgage tax relief being phased in over the next three years.  But there are still many excellent reasons for investing in the buy to let market.

Fundamentally the market remains strong. The number of UK households renting their homes has risen steadily over recent years (up from 2.3 million in 2001 to 5.4 million in 2014).  Less than 165,000 new homes were built in England in 2015.  It is forecast that 1.8million more households will be looking to rent rather than buy by 2025.

The combination of increased demand for rental property and the decrease in new landlords entering the market because of fears over the Government’s disincentives mean that now could be an excellent time for you to either start or continue building your property portfolio.
